When we were planning the trip, a full five days seemed quite long. I was sure that I would be more than ready to come back home by the week’s end. I was wrong. None of us were happy to leave Turkey, which I guess is exactly how you want to feel when it’s time to go. We enjoyed the sunshine, the incredibly beautiful setting, and especially the warmth of the Turkish people we met. There was SO much more we wanted to explore and do. So much more we wanted to taste. We spent a good amount of our travel time on the way home discussing how and when we could return. I am looking forward to showing you more pictures and telling a few stories this week. I will also be posting more pictures on my facebook page.
Oh my GOSH! These photos are incredible. I want to go to Turkey!! I can’t wait to see more photos. And you know have me planning what to do with six weeks this summer that we didn’t know how to spend…awesome!! Happy you had a good time and are home safe and sound.
Sarah, you should totally try to go! In the summer, it might be pretty overrun, but if you don’t mind the crowds, then it will be total paradise at that time of year!
Those images are beautiful! It’s already on my list of places I want to visit, but, now… even more.
Yep, I had no idea that it would be this beautiful. It actually brought lots of feelings of familiarity for me, since the climate and vegetation is surprisingly similar to Southern California. I felt right at home, for sure!
And, we would totally meet you there!
As always beautiful pictures. Looks like you had a good time.
Thanks, Andrew. We definitely had a great time.
Stunning! So glad it was a wonderful trip!
Thank you, Diane!
The photos are breathtaking! (Almost as pretty as Amelia 🙂
Aw, thanks Kristen! I will definitely be posting more landscape pictures, since there was so much gorgeousness that I still have to share!
