I have a couple of posts about Belgium waiting in the wings, but today I need to just get this off my chest:
I don’t do a lot of sweets, but I have always, always made room in my life for chocolate.
What would you take home?
Great Scott says
A) I would take everything chocolate. Huge sweet tooth over here. B) Please do a hair tutorial. For real. You are adorable!

Aw, shucks Sarah! Maybe I will. It is the easiest thing in the world!

Love the last photo! Your smile is beautiful.
Belgium is a little slice of heaven! We brought home tins in the shape of the little houses in Bruges filled with chocolates. So many delicious treats. Looks like you had a wonderful time!
Ariana says
Oh, thank you Jenny! We did love Belgium, and are really looking forward to our next trip. It’s fun to have some chocolates here to nibble on and think about our super-fun day there…

I love the photos of you and Amelia! You two are so exotically beautiful. And all that chocolate… heavenly.
Ariana says
Thanks Kristin… Genuinely blushing over here. And it WAS heavenly! I loved seeing all of the different shapes, sizes, colors, etc… There was so much, it was just fun to look at and think about the people making the chocolates, thinking of new combinations, etc.

There’s always time for some chocolate, right? But it’s not all the time that you come across such a huge amount of gorgeous truffles and treats. And it was surprisingly affordable!

I have found that I love Belgian chocolates–especially those flat round ones, like in your second photo, with nuts and/or fruit in them–wish I could remember what they are called. Whatever–they’re delicious!
Ariana says
Ooh, yum! We got a box of some that were dark chocolate with tiny hazelnut pralines mixed in– so good! I love the chocolate/ nut combination, like the 70% Rittersport with hazelnuts… So good!

Aside from the chocolate – you and Amelia are stunning. There is something about the mesmerizing quality of chocolate. I would take home the darkest chocolate studded with hazelnuts. Everyday ends with chocolate in my house. Belgium is my every evening dream come true. 🙂

A girl after my own heart… Chocolate happens every day around here, too. Always the darkest we can find!
