This is what wrapping Christmas presents looks like when you are living overseas! We tie bows on, add bubble wrap, then fill out customs forms.
I come from a big family that has a habit of wandering. This year, we are shipping packages to China, the Philippines, Oregon, Washington, Michigan and Illinois! We are lucky to have access to US postal services through the military base for our American addressees, but even then we have to factor serious shipping bills into our gift-giving budget! In exchange, every day at this time of year I can’t wait to hear whether Jeff will be bringing home a package! As a child living abroad, I was always crazy about getting mail, and even as an adult it is no less exciting. Here’s hoping everything arrives while it’s still 2011!
