I would like to post a photo each day for a while… I have so many that I’d like to share from our travel in Europe. Today’s was a result of a happy accident. We took a ferry from Tremezzo to Bellagio. A few hours later, we boarded the ferry again to go back to our side of Lake Como, but this ferry was not going back yet! We disembarked for an hour at Varenna for an espresso and a nice walk, then re-boarded again to go back to our hotel.

Waiting for tourist season…

I bet those chairs were made in the Phiippines… Nice shot!
Oh I Love Bellagio and Varenna. I have been there several times when I was still living at Lake Constance. It is so beautiful! Thank you for reminding me of this time!

Yvonne, this is what is so fun about writing about travels– connecting with others who have been there as well…
Varenna is so pretty – we too were only there for an hour or so, waiting for our ferry, after a day exploring Bellagio and Lecco. I just love the whole lake area in Northern Italy, though I found driving around Lake Como the most challenging!
