Just a few leaves hanging on to the trees around us, this time of year makes me kind of giddy and wistful, all at once. I wrote about making peace with the seasons last year, and those sentiments have not changed at all. It is so gorgeous here, although we are feeling nostalgic for Germany as well.
I remember feeling that way about fall when I was in elementary school. This is a beautifully lighted shot.
