Now that I know my time here is limited, I am having a couple of difficulties with blogging. First of all, I am extremely distracted and restless, having no idea what our future will look like. On the other hand, I have had all of these ideas about things I wanted to write about here in Amberg, and it’s a little overwhelming. I’d like to do my best to keep posting, even as things are a little dicey around here. So, I plan to share images that I’ve been holding onto from around Amberg of things I love.
I’ll go ahead and start with this little statue.
I really don’t know anything about it (maybe a local reader would like to chime in?) but love this very round woman’s apparent smugness.
Surely, there must be some significance here! Bounty? Fertility? I don’t know, but it’s fun to pass by this happy, full-figured woman when I take a walk along the Vils River.
“More to Love,” you crack me up! And I like this sculpture too… hoping not to look like it, but I do like it. 🙂
